Guyana’s largest and most remote ranch: 1,700 square miles of steppe with presently 7,000 cattle grazing on it. Amerindian vaqueros from the Wapishana tribe work their cattle as they did centuries ago, using a horse and lasso. The farm consists of several weathered block houses without electricity or telephone.

Location:South-west, about 3½ hours drive south of Lethem along the Rupununi river.


Hotel facilities:Ranch life, boat trips, bird watching, small shop.
Included meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, fruit lemonades, rum and rum punch.

2 night package:
1st day: jeep safari tour starting in Lethem, leading right across the Savannah plains at the foot of the Kanuku mountains and through an Amerindian Makushi village to Dadanawa (4 hours). Later, a trip to a hill offering a fantastic view over the ranch area. 
2nd day you’ll be riding out with the Amerindian vaqueros and watching them at work with their lassos and branding iron. In the afternoon, there’s a trip by boat, on horseback or in a jeep to the river rapids with ancient Amerindian rock engravings by Rupununi river where you can bath and relax..
3rd day: After breakfast return trip to Lethem.
